Call for Teachers

Calling on emerging and experienced art educators and teaching artists to join the Columbia Art League’s team of children’s and adult art class teachers. Teachers should have interests in working with students of a range of artistic abilities, from beginner to advanced, on skill development, tapping creativity and nurturing self-expression.

Applicants interested in being considered for paid, part-time positions should submit a letter of interest, resume or curriculum vitae, list of professional and/or academic references, and a sample lesson plan (for a children’s or adult art lesson). Candidates contacted for interviews will need to bring a teaching and/or art portfolio for review.

Please submit application materials to Patty Jaconetta Groening, Education Director.

Please direct questions to Patty Jaconetta Groening, Education Director, 573-443-2131 or calarted@centurytel.net.
