The Art Purchase Program

A vital and thriving art gallery community is vital to a successful arts based tourism program. The goal of the Columbia Convention and Visitors Bureau is to make our city one of the top art communities in the Midwest. In an effort to turn that goal into a reality, we are encouraging businesses and individuals to incorporate original art into their home and business decors. The benefit of original art is substantial. It creates the aura of a successful and creative business. It often appreciates in value. It makes your home or business a more interesting and inviting place to live or work. We invite you to join the many other Columbians who have taken the pledge. It's simple, fast and oh so powerful!

The Art Purchase Pledge

I pledge to purchase one item of original art, locally, within the next year. I understand that my e-mail address will ONLY be used for the purpose of sending me information on opportunities to view or purchase art in Columbia and will not be shared with any other person or organization.
