Pam Fleenor, painter

Pam Fleenor

Pam Fleenor is a lifelong visual artist and musician. Creating art and music is the breath that gives her life and knows no boundaries. Her creations span a wide range of influences and genres. Visual art can range from deeply meditative abstractions combined with vivid color studies to soulful, representational portraits and landscapes.

Pam's music is her own blend of several influences: African percussion ensembles, Middle Eastern traditional, American jazz and European classical. Pam also creates hand-made musical instruments, most recently devoting the past decade to teaching herself how to produce fine quality hand drums and percussion instruments.

Visual art began as early as age 3 in numerous portraits of people and animals. Creating musical instruments began at age 14 with bamboo flutes. Music began at age 8 with a couple of years of piano lessons and then resumed with Pam’s interest in hand drums in her early 20's. Pam has performed music all over the Mid-West, has sold instruments across the nation and has completed many commissioned paintings.
